MADcabaret is an irreverent, smart and ridiculous comedy show set to premiere April 27th at the Attic Underground, an exciting up-and-coming warehouse space in Lincoln Heights. Hosted by hilarious 86-year-old ex-vaudevillian Mary Dolan, and presented by Tiny People Productions, MADcabaret promises a spectacularly different night from the LA comedy and performance scene. Drawing from stand-up, improv, and sketch, MADcabaret allows comedians to play in outrageous new ways, and entices audiences to engage up close and personally.

One-third of Tiny People Productions, Petey Gibson (co-conceiver, producer, writer, and performer in Boston’s Bent Wit Cabaret- a show called “smart”, “subversive”, and “fucking fantastic”, among other descriptors), is utterly delighted to bring her newest iteration to the LA comedy scene. “At The Groundlings,” says Gibson, “I study the art of “Yes, and”, and I live my life by that very motto. I thrive on art that makes a room sing, that makes strangers talk to one another about what they're seeing, that makes people laugh til their bellies hurt. Laughter is important. And since moving to LA, I've really wanted to create a new show that does just that, and bring the strangeness that my hometown, Boston, cultivates so very well. When Erin introduced me to Morrisa, and I was in Morrisa's Attic Underground space for the first time, I knew we could all drive this vision together.“
